Domen's Bike

Domen, is a customer from Slovenia, Europe.

Thank you very much Domen, not just for your order, but also for the friendship, emails, and pictures (which I know will be coming soon). It is all greatly appreciated.

If you would like to read some parts out of some of the emails that I've received from Domen take a look below where his pictures will be.
Anything in quotes is from Domen.

Awesome pic Domen.

It's always nice to see a person with their bike.

"Hi Chris!

I don't know if you still remember me, but I think I'm still your the most-far-away customer.

In this summer, I finally mounted the kit on my bike. It's an 60-year old bike and I love it.

I had some problems, because the bike is larger I had to lengthen the chain, I had to put an additional motor holder and another beam for the tank.

It is great. It needs some time for the cold start, but when it starts...there is no hill I couldn't "climb".

I enclose two photos that you can see this improvised "masterpiece" and its author.

Best regards from Slovenija,

Domen"

"Hi Chris!

Sorry that it takes me always so long to reply.

So, I have mounted the engine without difficulties, though I had to add another beam on the bike because it is an old one and has a different housing. I had to enlarge the borehole on the chain wheel and lengthen the chain. I had some difficulties with mounting the gas tank because there is no horizontal pipe on the housing of my bike.

I managed to start the engine, but there are huge wheels on my bike (29 inches, I think) and the bike is incredibly fast. I am considering of diminishing the front chain wheel to reduce the speed and to increase the moment for better "hill climbing".

I took some pictures with my mobile phone, but I haven't transfer them on the computer yet. As soon as I do that, I'll send them to you.

Generally, I'm very satisfied with the kit.

Have fun. Best regards from Slovenija,

Domen"

"I just write to let you know that I have received the kit. It took almost 2 months but it is already being installed at the moment.

I have some complications, because I want to mount it on a very old bike, which has nothing made on the today standards:) I have to improvise a lot:D.

I have a great leak of time at the moment too because I am very busy with my PhD but the holidays are near and I hope I'll finish the project of motorising my bike then.

When it is finished I'll send you a photo.

Thanks again."

"Thank you for your complliments. It has been a pleasure making business with you, too.

The address you wrote is correct. Maybe you should add Europe, because some people don't know that Slovenia lies in Europe (sad, what can I say).

I'll send you a mail when I get the shipment..."

"Hello Chris,

Everything you wrote is good news:) In this world everything has to be payed in advance:) Of course I want to proceed with my order.
Thank you for your effort.

Lep pozdrav (regards),

Domen"

"I come from Slovenia, Europe and it is impossible to buy such a kit here. That is why I am glad that I found your website. If I understood correctly, you can send this kit to Slovenia, right? I found a similar kit at King's motorbikes but they are not serious. They do not even write me back. I am really really looking forward to getting this kit. I will put it on an old bike, made before WW2:)) Tell me, is the motor reliable?"
